Who Needs Feminism?
As much as I worry about being too addicted to the internet and fret about people relying on the internet rather than having ‘real life’ communication, I am always happy to see that there is a framework for people to easily express their opinions across the globe. Of course, I say this when it’s an opinion I share… nonetheless, fuck yes all of this.

Rebloging this again cause it only has like 180 notes but the “Men have Vagina’s” has almost 1,700 notes. WTF?? What about us girls?
Please Love & Support ALL trans people! Us girls matter too & we get a lot more hate & hate crimes against us, so please remember, all of us struggle.
p.s. This is NOT a stab at trans men, I LOVE & RESPECT TRANS MEN & have rebloged the other one myself.
Just pointing out the deference in the way people treat & support us.
Thanks, I love you ALL! <3
For the record: I’m cisgendered, but fucking HALLELUJAH.

Okay, lets clear something up.
I’m not only pretty sure, but I’m positive that back then, there were trashy girls that no one liked, just like today, there are classy women that deserve respect. This certainly is not the first time that a post exactly like this has shown up on my dash, and certainly wont be the last, and every time, I’m grossly annoyed. I know plenty of women who are classy and smart and clever and all around awesome, just as I’ve met girls who think they’re tough shit and that think they’re awesome, and are really trashy bitches. Just because you put a picture of women from the 20s that look like they have their shit together next to girls from today that look like all they care about is looks doesnt mean that all women now a days are like that and all women then were like that. I, personally, hate that look, but it’s the same look sported by my cousin who is one of the smartest, nicest women I’ve ever met. And where I work, I see women come in who look like they do have their shit together, business women in suits similar to the women on the left in this picture, and they are the rudest, bitchiest women I have ever encountered.
Nothing happened. There are still classy women (and men) now just like there were trashy women (and men) back then.

Mary Fields was born sometime around 1812 & was born a Slave in Hickman County, TN. She was the first African American woman and the second American woman to be employed as a mail carrier with the United States Postal Service. Mary was hired by the U.S. Postal Service because she was able to hitch a team of six horses to a Stagecoach faster than anyone other applicant. She earned the nickname “Stagecoach Mary” because of her reliability even in inclement weather that caused her to walk up to ten miles in the snow to the Mail Depot and the fact that she never missed a day of work.
